Sketches
Sketching is my favorite part of the creative process! I love experimenting with new materials and spend lots of time exploring art stores. Here, I’ve shared some of my favorite sketches, created using a variety of techniques.
The Funny Adventures of a Frog and a Cherry. I came up with different combinations and possible interactions between these characters.

Cafe Sketches. One of my favorite things to do is drawing in cafes! Desserts, coffee, ice cream—all of these are incredibly inspiring for creativity.

Pirate Kids and Their Pets. Here, I imagined the types of pets that pirate kids might have. I aimed to make each one unique and fun!

City Bears. I created this illustration after taking Mattias Adolfsson’s course. I loved building a detailed scene and imagining giant bears playing hide-and-seek in the city!

Action Characters. I often sketch characters based on photos of people in motion. For these sketches, I used photos of my athletic daughter, making the characters feel more lively and dynamic.

Quick Sketches. When there’s very little time, but I still want to draw, super-fast sketches with a black liner save the day. Each one takes just 5-10 minutes.

Drawing Marathons. I love participating in various drawing marathons! It’s a fun challenge to create an illustration based on a single word prompt—it really stretches your imagination and creativity.
